Keeping Good Oral Health
- Brush your teeth two times a day , once in the morning and once at night just before going to bed.
- When you brush your teeth see to it that every surface of every tooth the toothbrush has reached. Tooth brushing is mechanical cleansing of teeth. If you miss out on some surfaces of some teeth then even if you brush two times or more, you will not be able to stay away from tooth decay and dental caries.
- Massage your gums with Virgin Coconut oil (100% pure organic coconut oil) at least two times a day. After gum massage with virgin coconut oil do not eat, drink, rinse or put anything in the mouth for at least 30 to 40 minutes.
- Take half a glass of luke warm or hot water ( which you can tolerate and comformtable with) , put a pinch of salt in it and rinse vigorously at least once or twice a day.
- Visit your dentist every six months for dental check-up. We mostly neglect this advice and usually when we experience dental pain then we visit the dentist. You have to understand that when dental caries (decay) starts on tooth it is painless. Dental pain starts when the cavity has become very deep. So don’t forget to get your teeth checked every six months.
